Stupidity is also a major source of happyness. Does that mean it's good to be stupid now? Several mental illnesses can also lead to happyness, does that mean they should be untreated?

Not to mention the striking similarities between Abrahamic Religions and the Beaten Wife syndrome.

Edit: And, What studies exactly? To me at least, religion is a major source of depression. Was actually, until I rejected the concept.
