Yep, a video of me singing for a Solo & Ensemble competition. I think I messed up a scale and I know I was off on a couple pitches, but I'll let the blame rest on the fact that I was ill, so be easy on me. =P A non-sickness error would be a timing screwup, but it's not terrible, oh well.

Anyway, the judge gave me a division 1, but just barely, which is the highest score possible, which I guess is OK. (I got a 36 out of 40, a 35 would have been division 2)

Also, it was taken on a webcam, so sound quality isn't wonderful by any stretch. Plus, there's a gap between audio and video. =P

As I don't take an interest in that style I cant give any critique, but I respect you for doing it and posting it where the whole world can see. Also dont be so hard on yourself, I cant tell when you were "off on a couple of pitches", and besides, you got into the top section.

LOL the A/V gap makes the video look ridiculous. I am not familiar with this style of song but you seem to have pulled it off pretty well. Good luck with the rest of it.

It's actually a Tchaikovsky piece, but the songbook I have has it in English so meh.

btw I agree with scope, the AV gap is rather horrendous. Is it possible to get it synced up?
