And asking my mom If I can go meet some guys I met on the internet might end up involving the police.

In all seriousness I would probably do it if enough other people also did.

I would like to meet some of you guys (argue which sum to your hearts content ) but knowing the British capacity to FAJL, you'll pick a day I'm out of the country.
Nid 29 Apr 2009
Me and Ion are discussing it now (or were) still no date has been picked, I'm waiting for AJ to see if Birmingham is a good location as Ion seems to think it is.
Ion Cannon! 29 Apr 2009
We need to know how many want to go, and what times they are available before we pick a date. Birmingham seems logical to me because its basically in the middle of the country.

Hey guise, I'm a little late to this idea (internet was cut off for several days), but it sounds great.
I'm thinking that although it isn't quite in the middle, London might be a good place to meet up in (fairly easy to get a train there from most places).

London costs an arm and a fucking leg, I will not be meeting up there.

Train fares to London are a nightmare. And everything is expensive. I could try and get a cheap advanced ticket but those are hard to get.
Pav:3d 30 Apr 2009
London isnt that bad cost-wise, aslong as you know where to go and where not to, then its not too bad.
Rich19 30 Apr 2009
I guess I do live relatively close compared to other people here to London. Anyone got any other ideas as far as location is concerned?
Nid 30 Apr 2009
Oxford, halfway between Birmingham and London, and not really too far for Ion up there in Manc.
Ion Cannon! 30 Apr 2009
Still quite a fair way from Leeds. I've been on the train through Oxford before. I can't remember how long it took to get there.

It should really be a place one of us knows. Maybe someone does know oxford, in which case speak. I still think Birmingham is best. Its central to pretty much everyone.
Libains 30 Apr 2009
Know a fair bit of Oxford myself - not totally but well enough - lived nearby to it for about 2 years. My only other possible that I could think of would be Bristol as that is also quite central, and for the most part the Brits here are Western based. Plus the train links to Bristol are exceptional. Either works well for me however
