Ive been working on this pretty solidly over the last few days and I thought Id share how its going:

Unwraping took a good 2-3 hours, it was definatley a step up from stuff Ive unwrapped before
It uses two 1024x1024 textures, one for the inside and one for the outside.
When its completed everything will be sharpened up and rendered in a scene

*Prepares for effort of high praise*
If the quality of that skin is translated onto the remaining parts, and sharpened and neatened correctly, it will be up there along with the skins that we see from Renegade X. Bloody brilliant mate, totally bloody brilliant.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
Why are you looking for a basic job?!

I think you are easily good enough to texture professionally. Get yourself on one of those courses

Sod the course - he'd put EA to shame.

If this turns out better than our originally intended Green color scheme we might change to grey. Can't wait to see more of it man!

Glad you like it guys
Ive changed the base texture to green, which looks much better.
The outside is almost finished, Ill post the finished version in a few days.

It's absolutely fantastic - I can't wait to see it finished, because I get the feeling it'll further confirm beyond doubt that you're easily one of the best skinners this community's seen, and look spectacular doing it!

Well done Pav3d, you have the one essential skill of a skinner: patience, along with a huge amount of artistic talent to go with it.
Brilliant work.

Thanks guys
Here it is completed

I added some alpha channeled windows since it looked strange w/o them imo.
I couldnt render with skylight (how I ususally render, infact the only way I knew how to render until now...) without it blacking out the entire inside along with messing up the windows too. So I had to improvise with some other light settings.
From start to finish I lost count of how many hours I spent doing it. But it was much fun, and I hope to do something else like this soon.
