Just out of curiosity, what browser does everyone use and why?

I've been using Chrome recently, though I'll be very happy when it gets an adblocker of some variety.

Firefox. Yes, after all these years, I chucked that Internet Explorer into the bin and I'm wholly glad I did...

Firefox.

Like Rayburn I did the sensible thing and tossed Internet Explorer. Any browser that installs software on your computer without your consent cannot be trusted.

I have no use for anything other than FF whatsoever. I only use IE when I need to see how badly it botches my web pages.

I can only add my happy voice to the teeming Firefox multitude.
I wonder what its market share is these days in total? We're not a wonderfully representative sample, but the sheer weighting even here leaves me to believe that Microsoft and the others must feel seriously under threat by now.

~20-22% JB, its enough to make a decent dent in IE's presence. IIRC Safari is around the 1% levels.

The fact so many people (Overall) still use IE just illustrates once again what clueless morons most people are. And for those using IE on this forum. What in gods name possessed you to keep using IE!!

Wow, that really is impressive. I didn't expect Firefox to be the largest browser around today at all. Interesting to see that it hasn't taken long for Google to start carving out a chunk as well.

Chrome (it does have an adblocker, btw)

It's much faster than IE and I tried FF but it fucked up loading most pages so I turned to Chrome.

Another one of these, eh?

I use FireFox as my main browser, mainly because of all the plugins you can download, and the fact you can quite easily make you're own too.

When I want to quickly look something up, and I don't have Firefox open, I usually use Opera or Chrome, because they are the quickest at rendering pages.

I use Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari and even *shudders* IE to test my websites.
