I noticed some fancy looking headphones. On closer inspection it appears to be AKG K701's. It is also important to note that it is perched atop the most famous of the four main characters, Mio.




Is she using any amp with them?! With no amp the 701 sound aweful lol. <- Reason for the look on her face. SHE IS DOING IT WRONG!

Why is this an issue? I'm sure quite a few anime has RL gadgets/stuff in it.

Also we can't really see where the 701 terminates in that pic so who knows whether it is hooked to an amp or not?

That was not even half of all the Pizza Hut advertising Also, it appears in other anime as well like in Vampire Knight they normally eat those Chocolate sticks which have a RL counterpart in Japan as well.

You mean Pocky? That's just cultural. Pocky are extremely popular in Japan. Its also a one of a kind candy so it stands out a lot.

Edit: If you want to watch serious marketing you should google at what there is in Macross: Do you Remember Love. They even crossed the subliminal line.
