Essentially, the weapon is a large conveyer belt, that fires huge containers that clog engines with awesomeness. but since it's gla, maybe throw in a few trash cans and wat nots

Perhaps this could be extended to all kinds of stuff like grand pianos, sinks, caravans, quad cannons, train engines, expensive statues, other aeroplanes, etc...

nah no good idea since its uncodeable, and it would become to big.

I'm pretty sure it's codeable. Though it might just take planes out period, instead of disable them. Or it could just do normal damage. Would be a limit to how many projectiles there could be. Simple Airline baggage would work.

but why not a huge trash catapult? some kind of rotating belt, getting open and unleashing all kind of trash into the sky

This should work after all, since you can also make poison weapons staying in mid- and high-air against airplanes. Would be interesting to see US containers fired at airplanes
