Just interested to see what the forum thinks, if we get enough people wanting a game, I will set one up

Im completely for this, are we going to do this over hamachi?

I voted no and yes because even though I don't have it I really want one all the same!
If this turns out to be successful I may even consider picking up a copy. It's not like it's expensive these days. You won't be able to expect me online much outside the weekend, though.

Get a copy anyway! The complete pack is probs really cheap, maybe even cheaper over steam (if its on there). We need as many as possible!

Its a possibility, it depends on what everyone wants. I know that Hamachi works quite well with BF2 as its easy to create a dedicated server.

Cheap you say? £2.86 on Amazon says that you underestimate how STUPIDLY cheap this game is. Having just looked I will be picking this up anyways, so consider me in. Love this game.

Apparently we seem to have struck a goldmine of a game that nobody was united under before! Ordered off Amazon, so it will be here sometime next week. When are we looking at playing then? Personally I feel that next Thursday evening would be best considering how it won't conflict with other gamedays.

I would also like to point you people in direction of some mods, especially Project Reality, Allied Intent X2, Battleracer and Sandbox.

TehKiller and I are leading a Project Reality clan (Gaming Legion), which was founded recently. Project Reality is MUST HAVE.

Battleracer and Sandbox are mods made by nutjobs from Sir. community, and both are made for epic lulz and stuff. First one is racing, and another one is... well, building.

There have been so many more BF games since BF2 that 'nobody' wants to buy it anymore. Same reason I picked up FEAR and it's two expansions for under a tenner off Amazon a while back.

Shall we set a provisional date for the 18th June then? I'd personally prefer a time that isn't too late in the evening - about 7:00pm BST. If anyone has any objections, please raise them now If this rpoves to be successful we can always make it a weekly thing, as well as invading servers and playing against 'Real' people

18th June is a no go for me atm... last day im at school before the start of summer (well school is over already just need to do some official bullshit business and im off)

Well anyway since I got it already installed along with Project Reality and Battleracer I am up (btw Battleracer is extremely fun and its size is like 100 MB)

Also i demand it to be inf only

But that restricts it to city maps! And then it's a grenade spam!

Depending on how many people we get it might be better to venture out onto public servers. IIRC the sign in allows you to put a prefix in front of your name (useful for clans etc), so how about we have something like [FS]?

I was thinking of a few games on wake island and that map needs vehicles.
