Erm, adding me, please? Sol_NCC_88011

BTW, is there a reason I lose every network and every person after I restarts my Leaf?

If this is happening to a lot of people, I think Leaf may still be a bit buggy to be considered a replacement.

It did not kicked me yet, also its opening very slow compared to Hamachi and there is no Group Chat thing which was useful, I don't know if it will be better than Hamachi , we may end up turning back to Hamachi :D

The maker of Leaf is interested in the group chat so it is likely he will develop that function. As for starting up leaf. Starting it up is fast however. Leaf takes the time to make sure everyone is connected. Seeing if there offline or online. Although that does not take to long. It usually takes a long long time if someone is behind a firewall or something. So it's the peoples fault for long time to get in with your firewalls and stuff

As for people who seemed to be getting kicked I think I might have a answer. Although I do not know if it's true. And I hope it isn't. There is a limit. And your being replaced with new people. Although I don't think this is the case due to the fact your recent and others are not being kicked. Just you.

Admiral I think I might of kicked you due to there being two admirals and I might of kicked the wrong one. pm me your email address you used.

Leaf < Hamachi for a number of reasons.

-Networks with a large volume of people have trouble connecting to everyone.
-A slight speed increase (debatable) is not worth losing the community we had built up over years.
-Lack of chat support combined complicated menus makes a separate chat program required for matchmaking.

If you have disabled hamachi for leaf, I strongly recommend switching back as these issues are to severe to overlook.

I'm afraid to say I don't want to switch back however. There are problems and they do need to be resolved. Send your bugs and complaints about leaf to

support@leafnetworks.net

And maybe it will be resolved.

i Find no problem with the leaf Program except for the very long log in time , not so very user friendly controls , and lack of communication This program is a lot younger then hamachi and i wont really bother using it till They add a network chat room or something to prevert the community from failing

Didn't we switch over to leaf for unlimited network space? Our network has stopped functioning correctly because of the large number of people inside.
Or was it the not existent speed boost? If so that's hardly worth splitting the community over.

EDIT: When the issues stated are solved, it may be worth it but right now, it is not.

I do not find Leaf to be any better than Hamachi, and it's way too difficult to set games up now, as well as a semi-loss of our community. Hamachi works for the most part. Leave it be.

There's little point my switching back again given the constant problems I've experienced with Hamachi.

I doubt you'll miss me from Hamachi. The fact that I virtually prevented team games I attempted to join from going ahead because they would never load is a problem that is simply too large for me to switch back to an option that 100% guarantees it will encounter it again when I have any other option.

However, why is it not possible to use Hamachi and Leaf simultaneously? Obviously one must be deactivated for the other to work, but is there a convenient way of doing this?

Hamachi is somewhat like steam. A small number seem to have horrible problems with it while everyone else finds it fine. I wonder why that is.

You can, I have heard of several dev leaks through improper use of hamachi.

It would be nice if we had a group of people willing to test different options to hamachi. I heard Game Ranger supports zero hour now. And Leaf probably has had some updates by now.
