Heres my modding tutorial which covers the following:

Boning units.
Applying skins
putting both of those in game
Sorting out cameos and putting those in game
Some basic to code to get everything working.

The ingame footage is a bit fucked up so ignore that but its a video combined with word which explains some of the things i posted above.

Hi I have a question. I'm trying to use 3ds max but I can't select W3d do set the texture when I make mapping. In your video w3d material is there but in my 3ds max not. I have w3d importer. Should I have something else?

Do you have the BFME Mod SDK? There's a plugin there to export W3D models.

Aham maybe no 8| will it work with version 8 or I need to find 7.0?
Also can you post a link to download it?

aslong as you have 3ds 7 or 8, doesnt work with other version.

Nice tut mike, is there some streaming you could upload it to?

I haven't gotten around to viewing it yet Mbob, but I think it's at least worth saying well done for taking the time to help others out. Bravo!
