Here i showcase my farming vehicle models.
Its amazing to see such a huge modding fan base being created for such a odd game as a tractor simulator(the farming aspect is extremely simplified)
There are currently a huge amount of mods made by people from all over the world, most of the mods are made by germans and East Europeans.
I have contacted numerous people that are experts in making mods to the game on multiple forums, and unfortuantley there are some problems with the game engine and my models, so they cant be put in the game, so i uploaded them for public use at Turbosquid
http://www.turbosqui.../Axel_of_sweden
the models are completely free.

There are alot of impressive mods that are out for the game, there are new maps (my favorite is the Hungarian Map)
Ofcourse there is an almost unlimited and constalnty growing collection of vehicles ranging from a brand new john deere to an old Zetor,
there are also mods that add new crops like Sugarbeet, oats, potatoes and sunflowers.

Both models deserve kudos because of the amount of detail and the great lengths you went to with their respective skins. However, the tractor steals the show in my honest opinion. It just looks incredible.

Volvo BM 2654
The 2654 was the last tractor developed by volvo,
and also the largest with a weight of seven and a half ton.
The 2654 was turbocharged and had 140 hp, it also had 4WD.

Your models are really accurate mate. How long does it typically take you to model and skin something like one of the tractors?

2-3 Days,
the hard part is to find good reference, for example the interior is pretty complex with all the controls etc.
and it also depends on the vehicle, an older tractor if often easier to do then a new one.
The easiest one was the seed drill, since we have that one at home.

wait, you have this thing standing right in your backyard and you still model it to play a... farm simulator?? why don't you just hop on the real one and start planting some seeds?

sorry, it's just that the concept of a "farm sim" seems really outlandish to me...
it's time to wake up

Sooooooooooo, how does it attack? Kill people by crushing them?

:xD: Joking... You should make civilian car packs for mods! :xD:

Well, when you like both like Agriculture and make Mods, its pretty hard to not make mods for a Farm simulator that is made to be modded.
Lets, see you have Theme-park sim,Hunting sim,Flight sim and many more
so a farm simulator isnt that stupid afterall.

I have a new vehicle to show

The Volvo BM LM-218, was volvo,s first purpose built Wheel-loader.
These early wheel-loaders with rigid chassis are called "Baklastare" in Sweden
literaly meaning "Rear loader".The first versions were modified tractors that were modified to run in the other direction and had a loader mounted over the rear axle.
The LM-218 and its derivates are still in use to this day, even though volvo stopped making them in the 80,s

And you should check scenery and misc objects on Operation Garbo ModDB profile, you'll see he already made a very impressive content for it :P

You never fail to impress Axel. Your most recent seems to be your most detailed, though that could just be the skin talking. Everything is well detailed as always. Nicely done mate.

3DS seems like it cleans up your renders a bit mate, making them look better. The only real critique I have, and I don't know why I didn't notice this earlier, but the skin on the forks of the yellow Volvo seems a bit stretched. Outside of that I have no complaints.
