GLA infantry gain suits of medieval suits of armor from two possible sources:
A: Bought on the Black Market.
B: Salvaged.

Infantry aren't salvageable iirc. It's a shame. Could work from the Black Market though.
For there can be no death without life.

I believe infantry are unable to gain salvage levels for the same reason the GLA bikes aren't able to. You're right, it is a shame, but the suits of Medieval armour (aka teutonic) sounds like an excellent idea. The only thing I would have to say against it is, why the GLA? It's true they're in the region the Crusades took place, but that armour would be all rusted and in museums. On the other side of the coin, if the GLA were given the suits of armour (and the upgrade would have to be fairly expensive to reflect what I just said), the infantry should lose speed but gain armour, and perhaps not be able to be run over, except for the largest tanks, like the Overlord, Battletank, etc.

GLA infantry cannot salvage up because they are coded not to. It should be easy to enable that.

Combat Cycles should be able to be made salvageable too. It just would take a LOT of time, because you have 8 riders which all need 3 conditionstates each.
On a side note, I made Radar Vans able to salvage upgrade like Battle Buses.
I don't think that this would be high up on my to-do list unfortunately, because it takes a lot of time to rig infantry models, and this would apply to all GLA/Toxin/Demo/Stealth infantry.

Rocket Buggies are salvageable. They may not be in Zero Hour, but they were in Shockwave.

I was making a salvageable rocket buggy for this mod earlier, and I once did make a salvageable Combat Cycle a long time ago.

ok... but what kind of salvage upgrades would you think off? i mean, it would be weird to see a toxin rebel carrying multiple guns as they need 2 arms for one
An infantry with a gun that shoots SHURIKENS and LIGHTNING?
You almost did, didn't you?

The buggy you mention had, what, 40 or so rocket pods on the back of it? I believe it started with like 10 or something and an upgrade made the number ridiculous in a hurry.

No, that was just me screwing around a long time ago. I was talking about a normal rocket buggy with normal salvage levels.
