So For Granger, Why not a defence that could shoot a Plane wich will kill a target in its range?
Something like this, Dont mind, I mostly made it in paint o0

And then it could have a upgrade..

Maybe it should shoot drones, because planes might be a bit too big

No reason the planes couldn't be scaled down, although which drone would it fire if drones were used? I'd vote for the Hellfire drone because in normal ZH, that's the only drone that attacks.

It'll be helluva funny to see a mini-B52/B-2 hit an enemy aircraft ...or you could always fire pilots.

Firing pilots would be like the GLA throwing terrorists and wouldn't be as unique. Though throwing men at a problem does have its merits (Hmm, perhaps Fai could adopt this since China does have "reserves").

Hmm...that's true. Though I was looking at the aspect that pilots parachute down after leaving the ground

Is it possible to code a weapon that fires airplanes and after the plane is destroyed, a pilot parachutes from the plane?

Anyways, I was thinking of a plane launcher defense before, just never made it. I also had an idea of a mini aircraft carrier type object that would hold a plane that could attack targets within the carrier's scanner range.

What about some hellfire suicide drones scaled up to the size of a little plane instead of using real expensive planes, that would fit better with the US side as they're against kamikaze tactics, and I imagine it would be really cool with the model Drag proposed

i dont think that would be a go. unless u ask creator (from contra) if ur allowed to use helfire drone shooting thing in ur mod. they haz it to.

2/- Contra has not the monopole of ideas
3/- As long as you don't use the same model it's fine
4/- Some other games used this concept before Contra, does that mean they stole it ?

If the pilot parachutes from the plane, it's only the plane being "sacrificed" then, not the pilot (though pilots do have a tendency to die from other means once they've landed).

like.... the 15 gatt guns that shot it out of the air. or the firestorm created because 4 migs shot at the plane. or it gets lucky and the enemies base explodes just in time

Well.. My plan was that the defence thingy would shoot an raptor, that will shoot its rockets towards the target, and then fly some how back in there

that would be... a raptor creating base defence. or does the raptor fly back in the turret? if not, it would be odd, because u create units of like 1200 $
