Sorry if this is the wrong place, I figured it wouldnt go anywhere else.

How do you make shapes cut into other shapes? I cant really explain it any better than that 8| So here is an example:

How this guy did it at 4:16 and again at 4:50

Also (again in the same video) how did he manage to make faces split and form other faces? (at 7:24)

Ive tried pausing but the quality aint great and it goes at 100 miles an hour. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The first one is ProBoolean. (Boolean)

No clue about the second one. I always used connect to do that.

I think he converted to editable patch, but please don't use neighter on ZH models unless really nescesary, the first one gives weird shadows, is fixable with a smooth modifier/breaking up all verticles, but the seccond one is just too polyintensive
