After watching a few of the Thunderbirds series again, I began to think about the crazy mod. "Why not putting units from the Thunderbirds into it?"
For example The Mole, it can be used for a new kind of tunnel network. Or it can dig itself under a structure a cause a little earthquake which will damage the surrounding buildings.
Or use it as a defence structure: When a enemy approaches it will be fired straight into their line and cause high damage!
Well how do you think about it?
AMD Athlon x64 X2 6000+ 3.1GHz
ATI radeon HD 4850 (1024 mb DirectX 10.1)
4 GB RAM ddr2
Windows 7 64 bit (build 7600)
500 watts power supply
1,25 TB disk space

I myself like the idea, but Jordan doesn't seem to like things that exist in real life. The basic idea sounds good though.

this wont ever get in the mod...
first, Jordan doesnt like already existing stuff, and units already used in games movies or real life, other then the C&C series.
second, copyrights. piles of them.
but you could always wait for a Jordan in a good mood :)

EDIT: small edit due to good/bad look

I think the idea of a unit capable of moving underground in general would work well.

A sort of burrowing Troop Crawler, or something like the Tiberian Sun Tick Tanks
