Is anyone else planning to get Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising?
The trailers on look pretty good.

It looks like another BF/CoD clone to me. That said it looks pretty slick. May give it a try if others around here do.

PS, why can't game developers get it that laser sights don't come out of the end of a barrel

Funny you should say that, in the vehicles trailer

they use the EXACT same vehicles from BF2, I appreciate that there may not be much choice, but they are taking more than a leaf out of BF2's book

Its a realism game IIRC, were you play you can also play co-op vs bots in mission type things, can't remember exactly as my friend was telling me.

Aesthetically its rather like BF2, but it is gameplay wise is where it differs.

I couldnt care less about what games vehicle they use TBH. If it is done properly, fine. A good copy is better than a bad invention.

Game is amazing.
Graphics are amazing, even on my, now, outdated computer. (I really need a new CPU and GPU).
The storyline is amazing. The multiplayer I havn't had a chance to try yet. Anyone else got it?

Single play on Experienced is rather good, but mutiplayer total fails. P2P connections = epic lag, also map is poorly designed so its more like spawn killing instead of a proper match.

Whats next an Armoured Fury DLC? Jesus has no-one at Codemasters said "Wait a minute, isnt this exactly like BF2"?

This game is basically half a milsim and half an arcade shooter. Also I didn't see any Euro forces in that trailer .

The main thing that screwed this game over was CM putting it on consoles.
