L4D2 is little over 1 week away so I've set up this poll to gauge the interest in a new server.

It needs to be a representative sample of the community so all 'no's' and 'mehs' are still needed.

There is always massive take up with a game at the start so it's use is likely to be high. The problem is longevity. And that isn't really a problem as our payments are month to month and thereby we can shed the expense quite simply if people stop playing. Also it's hardly a GDP breaking expense, it's about $11 /month.

I'll take it but I am pretty much depending on my country now, if they bring it, I will get it the day they bring it here, but there is a possibility it will come one year later or something

I'll be getting it, but probably not as soon as it comes out. Is it possible to use the same server for both games on different days of the week?

I have pre-ordered it (found it for 29,99 E
) but I'm not 100% on a new server. Definitely not opposing it, just let's see it first. About the old server: if the new game is good enough - which seems to be relatively probable, we can probably dispense of the old one. Or trade it for an L4D2 one ofc.

Well I'm certainly getting L4D2 once my retailer has it, although my relatively high ping might be problematic...
Not 100% sure for a new server...just 99%.
I wonder if realism mode has zombies that whack your weapons out of your hands like it did to Ellis.

No i won't be getting L4D2, but thats just because the game mechanics and gameplay of the first one got boring fast, so i doubt a few new features will bring the game back from the grave.

I'm with Chyros on this one, except for the pre-order thing. I'll just buy it when it comes out.

Actually, try waiting until Steam have a holiday sale (if they have one). Last year, the first Left 4 Dead went down to $37.49 USD, and this was only a month after it had been released.
I'm cheap, so I don't mind waiting so I can save some bucks.

Pre-ordered it, but I dunno about the server stuff; I don't play that much on the FS servers...
