This has a very good chance of sounding outright laughable to anyone with experience in vacuum technology, but I just need it to work:
Using the air compressor found in a common household refrigerator, would it be possible to achieve a vacuum of 10-3 Torr?

I atm is 760 Torr, but it would be useful to have stuff in reasonable units too.
What seals are you using and how airtight is the pump?
