From what you told me about your dream MDW, I'd be scared too if that thing came shooting out of the floor too. And to think, the floor and walls were white before that thing entered the picture. That plant creature is awesome though.

This time, I drew another SoM-Creature, having only an ingame-sprite to lean on:

Ugly sucker ain't he? Maybe it's the color, but he isn't one of your better monsters/sketches. The monster is good, but not a "best of".

That might be the colour which puts it down a bit.
It's hard to have a cool-looking monster if it's green, because green looks...COMMOM. If a child draws a mosnter, it's always green so we get different associations with it, I assume. that's my experienced.
Although, I made it green because I wanted to keep some things from the original. I basically tried to make out, what that thing might look like in a remake of the game. Not sure, maybe I'll improve or remake it some day...

Wooo, thanks. Glad to see that my artworks are THAT impressive.
Though, I think I'll redo this one some day when I want to draw but can't find a new motive. The "head" is a bit too small IMO.

Compared to the one in Super Metroid, this one looks absolutely horrid (which is good in this case). You were right. A little thinner, and a little more mechanical, has turned the "Mother Brain" into a truly gruesome creature to behold. Awesome work MDW.
