Right, we are just over 2 weeks out and whilst anyone who has paid attention knows that I am not the worlds biggest fan of the game (yet) I have no objections to making arrangements for FS to have it's own place to play. That said I am not spending money without knowing there is a demand. I imagine those who will want to play it will have the beta and therefore will own it already, so I want to know who has it and who may purchase it so I can investigate server options for us all.

Despite the poll nothing is certain, but I want to know whether to even bother. Would be nice to be fragging someone at release rather than fluffing around trying to find a decent server.

PS, obviously PC only

I may eventually get used to the system and get it . Partly depends on who else gets it I guess. I probably need a demo or campaign practice or something - or even better, a game with you guys sometime .

Thought I posted here...Anyway, If you do get a server by all means consider me for Server Admin. I play Battlefield games religiously and like an addict. And if you guys for some reason don't decide to get a BC2 Server I for sure will with me and my Clan mates and you are all welcome to have some reserves on it .

I probably will be getting this, but it's likely that I won't be able to participate much, for reasons similar to the L4D/TF2 games - no time to play, lag/shitty ping, or just the time zone differences that make the game times inconvenient for me. (e.g, the L4D games would be taking place on Saturday mornings local time, and waking up at 7:00AM on a non-school day is generally a pretty big ask for me).

Regardless, I'll try my best to play with you guys, mainly because I have the huge incentive of owning all of yo asses.

Well at the pre-release stage having 13 people that will be buying it and playing is a good total. I am hoping that post release that will change.

Right now I am not sure, not a huge amount of point ordering a 32 player server if we can't fill exactly half of it, although some 6 v 6 would work on smaller maps. I suppose it will depend on how much it will cost me. What we have to do is get you console boys to buy a decent bloody computer
