You can probably blame fox news for that, and the fact half of america is essentially rather backwards. I'm still outraged that Fox News can even call itself news! Surely thats false advertising.
Yeah but other channels like NBC are biased the other way as well. So Fox news is to me a great way to laugh but it isn't much worse than other US news channels. I always used to watch either Canadian or English news over US news. Even CNN lets me down tbh.
