What was up that made the forum go offline earlier today?

Also, I've been having frequent 503 and 500 Internal Server Errors since the Forum came back online. Did something big go wrong?

Reason for edit: I meant 503 error not 502.

Admins take it down once in a while to do a backup of the content. Probably that.

Just some tests .

Dauth is right in that it was a backup, however this one did cause a little bit of damage to one of the databases that resulted in people not being able to post for a bit. As to why that happened, anyone's guess

The real reason is that since Wiz and Dauth have gone the Administration has gone to pot.
Just kidding, AJ is at least half competent in dealing with these issues.
