I heard a rumor going around that Gears of War 3 will be coming out for the PlayStation.

I don't know if it's true, or maybe just a hoax, but if it actually DOES come out for the PS3, I'd have to dissaprove. Gears of War 1 & 2 were made specifically for the Xbox, and Gears of War 3 should be too. The PS3 shouldn't get the best of the series, and not get the previous games with it, it would be unfair for Microsoft and gamers like me.

We know the story to GoW, and PS3 users don't. Why end the trilogy on another console whose fans don't know what's going on?

Pretty absurd to me... I mean, GoW should just stay on the Xbox as it is.

Nah, they're definitely saying that they're proud of GoW being exclusively for the Xbox 360, so it must be no more than a false rumor...

Gears of War will remain an XBox exclusive for much the same reasons Killzone and God of War are PS exclusives. It's an unfounded rumor. Yesterday my friend was asking me if Killzone 3 would be on the 360 and I gave him pretty much the same argument.

Ah ok, hopefully, what scopeJim says is true. If they had made a PS3 Gears of War 3, then PS3 users would be demanding Halo Reach, which I doubt would ever happen on the PS3.

Oh...oops, lol I never noticed God of War had the same acronyms... But hey, God of War also has a third game in its trilogy, though it's PS3 exclusive..

Oh, i always thought people just called Gears Of War "Gears" for short.

But the idea of Gears 3 coming to the PS3 is ludicrous. Microsoft paid Epic too much for that to happen.

i really dont get the big deal with something not being console exclusive, i mean for the most part it doesnt mean it will be a worse game, and it just means more people will have fun and itll be a more popular series.
