Thrax gets a 'Common Cold upgrade', which makes his toxins harder to clean up.
RPG Troopers get slings instead of RPGs, and throw rocks a la David vs. Goliath.
Townes' Burton gets a laser pointer or a lightsaber as a weapon.
Cookie gen gets the 'Pb&J' upgrade, whcih makes his units fire much faster, but they jam every once in a while.
If the GLA captures a Chinese Nuclear Reactor, they can cause an 'America Syndrome', sacrificing the reactor to dig a hole that leads anywhere on the map.
Tsing Shi-Tao gets The Vault Dweller, a post-nuclear warrior, as his hero. Alternately, Lord Humongous.
