For the uninitiated.

Who plays these? Especially the ladder. It's a pretty old game, and somewhat obscure, but it's really good nonetheless. Makes you really feel like you're commanding a nation instead of a bunch of pillocks screwing off. It handles territory beautifully; perhaps the best I've seen yet in a game. Generals/Patriots in the expansion don;t have an attack, but balance it out with a bunch of really useful skills like Forced March (Temporary Speed Boost) and Ambush (Units are immobile [I think], but are invisible to the enemy). It;s a truly lovely game and I recommend it to any who like epic-scale RTS games.

Empire Earth Alpha should be a familiar animal to y'all.

I'm definitely up for some games of Rise of Nations sometime, there were a few people around here who used to play.

I have that game from torrent...but I uninstalled it recently, a shame especially the T&P expansion, love playing as the Russians.
