Yeah, so I recently found out that Eoin Colfer is making (if not already made) a new AF book. Needless to say I was excited, as I am a big fan of the series. I watched through his little promo-vid where he explained the plot of the book and near the end I spotted something that looked quite familiar.

Wow, that is like a direct rip from SGA. I love the books, but this... is just dead on plagiarism no doubt about it. Not only do the two Atlantis's look similar, but they're THE SAME EXACT THING. Super fail on Disney's part. Here I thought they had a good sense of originality :read:

I'm still excited for the book, although I'll probably read it with a sense of >_>.

I've never read the Artemis Fowl books. I heard they're interesting but I can't be bothered to pick them up currently.
