Title/poll says it all.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Spica with Android OS. And I love it.

rather hard to compare as most of us have only used like one to three of these operating systems.

I have an android phone and its also the first smartphone I have had, but what I hear from other more experienced users is that it is in fact superior to most of the others out there.

Its probably a contest between iOS and Android here.

I've used iOS and Android, and while they're both good in their own right I find iOS to be more usable and refined: While Android looks better on paper it doesn't do any one task particularly amazingly well.

Android hands down. I have 2.2 running on my HD2 (natively runs Windows Mobile an ugly but functional OS). It really depends on what you want your phone to do. iOS is too simple for me and I hate jumping between apps for everything. Anyway, one thing is that if you want your phone to be more than a phone and more of an MID you absolutely NEED a good chipset. Snapdragon or a 1 GHz Cortex A8.
