I'm getting a bit tired of just posting the random things I make in LPTPW, so I thought I'd make a thread for it all. You'll find everything from sprites to .pngs and .gifs here, I guess.





First things first, the current weapons (That I sprited myself) in my currently unreleased Cortex Command mod. Everything from slug firing grenade launchers to the Kill-o-Zap from The Hitchhiker's Guide.






An army and a tanker ship for the forum based game Picture Wars. Not really much to say on this one.

An unfinished map for the same thing. Linked because it's too big for the thread.

I agree, but I can't think of what to put it on it really since the darker parts are meant to be big pieces of armoured hull.

I think the first thing it needs is shading. It's far too flat.

Sorry about taking so long to respond to your C&C Alias, I've been a bit busy. As for the sprite, I was actually looking for a way to remedy that, and you've hit it on the nail really with it being flat. A reshade would make it look far more interesting. I've got some qualms with shading something that large though considering that I'll never use it.

I suppose I should dump everything I've done to the above sheets since they're quite outdated now.

Those are pretty awesome looking sprites, but that pink is blinding compared to the sprites on it

Unfortunately pink is the background color in the Cortex Command palette. Definitely not the one I would've chosen, but eh.



Here's a small update on my re-done Picture Wars army. I never really got to realize what I wanted it to be when I first made it, and it certainly never had an assault gun with a 152 mm mortar. Now to make some gliders!
