If the ocean would sing, it would sound like this.

As long as the dark foundation of our nature, grim in its all-encompassing egoism, mad in its drive to make that egoism into reality, to devour everything and to define everything by itself, as long as that foundation is visible, as long as this truly original sin exists within us, we have no business here and there is no logical answer to our existence.
Imagine a group of people who are all blind, deaf and slightly demented and suddenly someone in the crowd asks, "What are we to do?"... The only possible answer is, "Look for a cure". Until you are cured, there is nothing you can do.
And since you don't believe you are sick, there can be no cure.

It sounds pretty good slowed down, although rather bare. I could see a nice remix coming out of that. :P

I can think of tracks a hundred times barer than that, for ambient that has quite a lot going on. :P

Still great music though. The guy who made it does some pretty badass other stuff as well.

You didn't but you said it sounded bare...

AND THUS YOU MUST DIE FILTHY HERETIC!

Blah blah blah.

This is actually quite good, most impressive I'd say. Especially considering its simplicity.

Perhaps the entire song was, in itself, a "point" of interest.

I enjoyed what I heard of the track. Fills a wonderful niche for background noise and a wonderful job at being a relaxing soundtrack. Some sounds are a little too piercing for me, otherwise I'd recommend it to fall asleep to.

Because it's the Portal end credits soudtrack... however, either forum is suitable IMO.

But we ar talking about the musical qualities of this edit. Also I think many songs would sound similar to this at 1/8 speed.

well, you know how the original song is. this version sounds really different from it.
I just said subliminal messaging because the lyrics can't be hear in this speed, which gives me some mysterious feelings. :P
nonetheless it's epic.

Then you know you don't listen to this stuff actively. However putting it in the background ambient while working may work for some people.
