I meant north England, I was born 6 miles from the border of Scotland and then lived about 30 miles north for the first 14 years of my life. Mind you my mum was born in Liverpool but doesn't sound scouse at all.

Alternatively, if you want unintelligible, try a deep Southern accent. Like south of New Orleans. They claim they speak English. That is rather... Debatable. A general contempt for where and when words end and begin does not help.
