So, there are people here with the knowledge. What do you suggest? As usual, money is no object, but I'd like a couple of options beyond the puppies gonads of the moment. Currently I have a rather old, but still decent Labtec setup with two directional and one sub. I don't plan to upgrade them in the future, but the AD700's should work nicely with them

You did say money is no object... May be a Benchmark DAC1 USB.
The Auzentech Forte and the Asus Essence are good internal sound card if you want one inside.

I'd go for the Asus Essence for now, you won't notice much difference between that and the others when using the AD700.
