The deal has ended.

Ok guys, it's only £1.50 (75% off) on Steam at the moment, so i have some questions.

First, is it worth buying?

Second, will people play it with me?

The deal ends Thursday 11th at 4:00pm Pacific time, so lets not dwindle :P

Looking forward to getting some games in with people, what i have played so far has been really fun :xD:

Hmm, I've been playing it for a long time and it's definitely worth that price.
Only thing is I got bored of it recently, so don't expect me to play a lot with you (but Raptor and some other FS members just bought the game as well btw)
But seriously, for 2 quid it's more than worth it (I actually bought it back in the days when CS Source just got released and I didn't regret it :P)

Had it since I bought the whole orange box about a year ago. Never played it, never wanted to, no idea wtf it is :D

Might be available for a game sometime if you can drag me away from CoD:BO

Been playing DOD since the original came out for Half Life, so yes very much worth it!

How do you buy anything, receive income or store savings, then? :S

My parents opened me a bank account when I was born.

Think so, it can run Portal, but I get lag in a couple of spots :D.

I only opened up a bank account last year, which was when I would start actually earning money for myself. All the birthday money that I had received in previous years had ended up in my parents hands for "safekeeping". Of course, I'd rarely see that money again :D

I was a long time player on DoD:S on my old Steam account, it came up at this price so I had to buy it again no doubt! Not sure if my connection is gonna hold but I will try.

Portal is much more resource intensive than DoD:S
You'd need to compare it to HL²: DM or CS:S to get equivalent results :P
