Reason being, out of the blue my fan I have in my room just started making very strange noises. It starts up incredibly slowly, has a strangely quiet whir to it and makes an on clicking sound like it keeps hitting something or something inside is loose. I already opened it up and took a gander, clearing out dust and inspecting the innards and I found no problems whatsoever. My fans been off for the entire day, and even when it's on it always stays on the lowest possible setting.
I keep it on during the night, usually when I'm sleeping and keep it off during the day so it can cool down. I've done this for the past 3 years without any issues and now all of the sudden this starts happening when the fan was working perfectly not hours ago.
