Hi, I have been trying to add a laser and lightning texture to my defense structures, but they all seem square looking and I don't know how to get around that? I'm trying to do dark textures (like Dark Energy), but no luck. I've tried alpha channels, light, dark colors, though the multiply shader works but the texture will not go transparent around the edges like I want it to.
Also I have another question, how do I add new DamageFX? I've tried to add two of them, but the compiler says that my FX group in the Weapon.xml is invalid?

Could you please post a picture of your laser effect? I don't quite understand your description.
Note that the multiply shader should be fully transparent if the texture section is white.

I think that is what I need is a multiply shader, how do I add one to the laser code tag?
