Should be interesting

Apparently they want to revolutionise the action genre in the same way the original did, which is going to be one tough feat.

Why 4 and 5? There never was a 2 and 3.

No, there DEFINETLY never was any sequels.

SILENCE!

As long as the dark foundation of our nature, grim in its all-encompassing egoism, mad in its drive to make that egoism into reality, to devour everything and to define everything by itself, as long as that foundation is visible, as long as this truly original sin exists within us, we have no business here and there is no logical answer to our existence.
Imagine a group of people who are all blind, deaf and slightly demented and suddenly someone in the crowd asks, "What are we to do?"... The only possible answer is, "Look for a cure". Until you are cured, there is nothing you can do.
And since you don't believe you are sick, there can be no cure.

Looking forward to this, seems like they're going to have to some reviving first if they're contacting Reeves...

The first one was just plain awesome and the sequels kinda wrecked it for me, tbh. I'll just try and forget about those ones i think 8|

Reloaded wasn't too bad but Revolutions just went down the wrong track. Much like Terminator 4 IMO.

I didn't think the sequels were that bad, to be honest, I just think they should be non-canon.

The second two had less plot and more action but were enjoyable non the less.
The first one was a classic and the best of the three, but the other two were still good imo.
Also, having thought about it, they do have a lot of places to go with these two more films.

Err......is it wrong that I think a 4th and 5th movie shouldn't ever have been thought about? Honestly, the ending to the 3rd film was enough for me, but now that there's rumour of a 4th and 5th. D: Quick! Someone fetch me a blue pill!

Same, 2 was pretty good, a little too wierd for its own good, but fun nontheless (The interlooping sex scene/wild cave party was just brainmeltingly horrifying though. 3 just flipped off everything the first film had established. Watch this from 0:58 to see what I mean (SPOILERS)

EDIT: Eh? According to Youtube comments, the rumours of 4+5 are false. of course, they are YOUTUBE comments...

I trust IMDB better than Youtube comments 8|

I personally don't like how Revolutions put so much focus on fighting the machines that were supposed to be unstoppable you know? Reminds me of what C&C3 did to the Scrin <_<

Especially since there were all these hints in 1 about how Morpheus would eventually die for Neo, and it just...never touches it again. And then there was all this wierd stuff with several layers in The Matrix that was NEVER TOUCHED UPON. The first one was clever, and pretty straightfoward too, the other two got all wierd and silly.

That was touched 8|
Hence the massive fight scene in the entrance hall of that building (likely one of the most iconic scenes in the matrix) when they tried to rescue Morpheus who had sacrificed himself.

But not in the sequels.
