well i personally dont like yuris revenge. i absolutely hated the mind control crap. over all RA 2 was a bit too cratoony for my taste and the fact that they used a porn star in the FMV made it just too cheesy for my taste

The story was nice for all except for Gen/ZH. The graphical engine of Gen/ZH is definately nice of course, but story- and gameplay wise it lacked bits, imo. Gen/ZH is definately better with a good mod, but on its own it's not that great to play. I personally just had more fun playing the campaigns of the earlier series than playing the Generals / Zero Hour campaigns. I can't vote for both though, so I won't vote yet.

gen/ZH although visually pleasing, IMO didn't stick to the CNC type storylines

Zero Hour and Generals are basically video game versions of news reports. Like I want to hear a plot about a madman mindcontrolling Washington D.C. and not a plot of some UN relief mission.

I've only played Generals and ZH (and some mods) so I can't really vote in this

Yuri's revenge. I mean, RA2 was corny enough but Yuri's Revenge crossed the line with me. I mean it could still be fun but it just wasn't as "intense" as the tiberian games and RA1. Often I'd find myself laughing at some of the voices and battles as they proved to be overly corny.

I never played Tiberian Dawn, so I can't really say that I like/dislike it. I couldn't really get into TS, but I don't hate it either. I can't say I hate any of them, though I don't want to play TS (sorry Prophet). yes, Generals isn't made under Westwood, but I like to play this one the most (mostly since ShW came along).

I'd have to say as the CnC I dislike is Generals, mainly because it's just not CnC. It's a fine RTS game, but no relation whatsoever to any other CnC game, except for the Overlord Tank.

Mods don't count here . I like to play ShW, but we're talking about unmodded games here, as far as I know.

as i suspected. people hate yuri as much as i do. if i were EA i would wipe out all exsistence of Yuri if there ever is a RA3.

Oh I'm not keen on Yuri (that's my little brothers name ), it was a bit imbalanced at points. However I do like YR. It's too bad actually that they didn't have a Yuri campaign in. Would've added something to the game maybe.

Yuri would be better if his mind control was Kane-like propaganda style rather than psychic stuff. I remember a certain someone here saying that they'd take the mind control over chrono technology though...

Tough call between RA2 and YR, I say Yuri's Revenge. I think Tiberian Sun is the high point of C&C thus far......that game had it all. And thank you Prophet for the information on EA's mad casting in RA2, them sinking to the lowest common denominator like did never set well me. I will now track down and do something very bad to those who dare defile Command and Conquer, they have given war a bad image.

on topic tho i think i can agree with prophet in yuri/ra2 mainly becouse it was well nothing like RA1.

RA1 was dead serious about a soviet invasion and you would eather lead that invasion or attempt to stop it from happening.

And RA2 on the other hand was a big clowns act if you ask me.
Still a enjoyable game but it defently didn't have the spirit of RA1.

me? i dislike YR as much as PoTP.. but the kirov P4\/\/N3D the helix pretty badly IMHO... it's so cool to see a soviet balloon with tons of bombs... it's would be better if RA2 units were brought to RA1, except the psychic shit and stuff...

I like all C&Cs and I love RA2, but I hate YR...IMO RA2 was cool because it wasn't THAT serious, but YR was too much...Just too much...

probably the two worst CNCs are generals and YR, mainly because generals was to serious compared to the rest of the CNC series and YR was not serious enough. Although i still love both of them
