Amdrial is having some problems with browsers, only Steam in-game worked.

He is using Windows 7 x64, tried Chrome, Firefox, IE and none worked.

Disabling firewall: Done, nothing

Resetting IE settings: Done, nothing.

Anyone suggest what he can do?

that is unusual. i would suggest a system restore to see if it changes anything.

Well normally I'd suggest using a proxy for this kind of problems, but I doubt he's got censorship where he lives
Let's be serious though, tell him to try downloading stuff via torrent or using programs that use other ports than 80-81-8080, if it works, then he's got a port forwarding problem and he should contact his ISP

Does he get any errors when trying to use a browser?

I fixed it by closing STEAM (Which I didn't try, even though I did notice the only browser which worked was the STEAM in-game browser). Thanks for the suggestions still.

Sounds like a bug with steam then LOL
