I'd suggest you put an anti creeper protection on the server, most of the servers I've played on or visited had one and it proved to be very useful (Basically, with it, you can define zones where creepers won't blow up the landscape when they explode)

I, Ser Bored has come upon thy high and mighty servers of crafting AND mining. And would like to ask if I can get a whitelist on your fellow servers, where I will work hard, long and dedicate myself everyday so that I, Bored, Can get the job done, I would work for minimum pay if you want, and hopefully over some time a promotion and become a well respected member inside this community. I will even work with the cow manure if I have to.

I just chose to make an account for fallout studios looked on Latest news and saw the minecraft server got interested and asked for a whitelist

The latest Minecraft patch broke the server. Can someone look into updating it please?

No, as it's not available to update to yet.

Just for info, it can take up to 3 days to get a stable bukkit update. Sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on how much stuff Notch changed. Also, since the last MC patch contains so much fail, I'd say that a hotfix is to be expected for tomorrow (That is, if Mojang get around to fixing all the new gamebreaking bugs)

It's a real shame since I was actually hoping to play a bit on the server today D:

4 patches actually. But every patch Notch released after 1.6 corrected a single bug and introduced at least 3 new ones...

sooooo now that 1.6.6 was released, is there any chance the server could be rebooted/resumed/resurrected?

The problem was certainly not with the MC update but with the Bukkit one
But yeah, the last build of CB has proven to be stable, so I guess the server can finally be rebooted

Yep, same map as before.

The map has been updated with a Nether Portal. You can find it near the spawn, in a cobblestone cave. The Nether side is in a small bunker, and is surrounded by craters created by those bloody Ghasts

After the update I've not been able to play on the server.

I'm able to join, move and open doors; but I can't use items such as chests, beds and furnaces.
I right click them and the window (or message/action in the case of the bed) doesn't appear.
