Isn't it all so international geek day or something today?

I question the general assumption that i am inherently deficient in the area of grammar and sentence structure

Ah I didn't realise that towel day existed until I read the wiki page today. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Towel_Day

Technically this is my first towel day, since I finally read the novels last summer. Highly recommended to anyone that likes Sci-fi and/or comedy.

P.S.

Has anyone read "And Another Thing..." by Eoin Colfer? It's supposed to continue the story of The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy as the 6th book in the series.

I've read a fair few of Colfers books, and I was wondering if it's worth a purchase?

You don't have to be a geek to respect Douglas Adams silly :)

Colfer is... okay. But don't bother reading any sort of post-mortem adaptations or reimagineings. They will almost always be sub-par to the original.

I read ...and another thing (the colfer written one that is the sixth book and that has the blessing from adams's widow) and it wasn't too bad. Yes it was abit different, but it was actually a pretty good book. Worth a read

Well I kinda warned i was talking outa my ass a bit there, as I didn't read the book. But I stand by my previous statement: I just don't like when somebody goes all 'Tim Burton' on somebody else's work. Still, I guess its worth a shot.

Also, I think I was like the only person on the streets today that wore a towel...
