As our IRC java client is down because of the ongoing domain issues, the following will allow you to join the IRC:

Download mIRC, Chatzilla or another IRC client and input the following details into the connection settings:

  • Server: irc.acidchat.net
  • Port: 6667, 6697 (SSL)
  • Channel: #fstudios

Further details can be found on the wiki page.

Or if you can't be bothered to use a software client and want a web client instead, you can use the CGI:IRC one rather than the Java one.

http://www.spicylemo.../cgiirc/irc.cgi
Nickname: insert your name to be displayed in the client, can be changed later through /nick
Realname: doesn't really matter, but is the name displayed if someone does a /whois on you
Channel: #fstudios
Password: leave this blank unless you have an auth

FYI, the java client isn't down, it's just the normal link doesn't work. You can find the java client here.
