Anyone... really understand FLCL? I just sorta got lost in it.

I finshed watching all 26 episodes of Azumanga Daioh last night and man was it funny I had to keep in my laughter as to not wake everyone to bad it's only 26 episodes though I was hoping there'd be more.

FLCL owns. It's overall plot, although vague, exists, but the series is really just about Naota growing up, and all his repressed sexual urges and confusion. There's tons of Freudian sexual references and subtle metaphors and symbolism hidden around.

Personally i enjoy it mostly because of the awesome style, sick humor and characters. The shootouts in episode 5... just..

FLCL doesn't mean anything. It's just a way of abbreviating "Fooly Cooly" or "Furikuri" which is the series' real name.

Fooly Cooly was written by people on Acid or something.

Quite. It still owns though. Watch the duel in episode 5 while you're overslept/drunk/both. I did.

That guy's eyebrows are the best. I love that pair of government agents or whatever. The part when they were in the field with guns was my favorite part.

Yep, the duel is beyond awesome. Naota's father is so awesome.

Stumbled upon an english trailer for Pani Poni Dash today. Woah.. I find it strange that someone licensed this in the US. It's so full of japanese in-humor and obscure references most people will just go WTF.

The second season is currently airing down in Japan.
