Debut trailer I happened upon for a game called Gas Guzzlers:

Of course it's only a debut trailer so it doesn't show much, yet the notion is intriguing: a racing combat game for the PC. That is not Blur.

It's not really possible to see but I hope it contains licensed cars :D . Judging from screenshots like the one below, it will feature existing cars, but not licensed ones (no badges it seems):

Releases in March, apparently. What do you guys think?

It looks alright so far. I didn't get much from the teaser (stupid teasers :cone:) so I'm not sure what to expect.

One of my favorite things about Blur was the neon style it had (and it's excellent music), this seems to have adopted the brown and dirty feeling that so many games use these days, so thats not that appealing. However I can overlook the style if the game plays well, lets hope they take inspiration from Blur!

I just hope this doesn't take the 'arcade-racer physics'-route like the vast majority of combat racers do. :/

A bit of user-friendliness I wouldn't mind though. Many racers are OVERLY realistic with their handling, to the point of being annoying, at least IMO. I agree it shouldn't be too arcadey though.

You're only saying that cause you don't know how to drive 8|
Nothing's better than playing GT5 in a car sim, all the driving fun without the car crashes and the danger :P

Which is a BMW M3 no less, probably one of the most un-American cars on the planet :xD: .

No man, apart from the size and engine volume (but not the power), everything about that car is extremely American :P .

They do seem to have a Fiat 500 in the game though, guess that's closest we'll get to that.

Also, the game will be available both online and in retail, will not feature DRM, you won't have to be online to play it in single or multiplayer and will feature LAN capabilities.

>sounds like every game older than 5 or 6 years

Shows how far downhill game development has gone. :/

Does look interesting though, bit meh about the graphical style but lets hope it plays well.

It's some kind of recently erected Croatian game studio called Gamepires.
