Another one that doesn't even sound THAT old:
As it happens, a small part of it is being used in a commercial over here atm, too

It's rather funny to think that this game is nearly ten years old. Still doesn't feel retro, but I'd say this is some exceptional game music:
Oh, and because I loved this game:
and one of the most criminally overlooked soundtracks of all time:

This 1995 game is probably not known to most of you but for me it holds great nostalgic value. Its soundtrack is also excellent IMO.

Ah, Skyroads. Built on a budget of almost nothing and REALLY FUCKING HARD, but with a set of impressive soundtracks that, in all their AdLib quality, sound very powerful, emotional and almost depressing IMO.

Another really good one, I'm sure a couple of you know this game. When you hear this track, you KNOW shit is going on...

I bet you any money there are a few Wacky Wheelers here; surely one of the best DOS tracks ever made.

Never could really get into Chaos Theory as much as I did in the first 2 Splinter Cell games, but by god is Amon Tobin a total boss.
I own the soundtrack and not the game. Aww yeah.

^Damn, never played the games but those are really good tracks =o .
Also, more oldies but goldies: long live Tommy Tallarico!
EDIT: better versions. (Turns out the best quality tracks are from the PC of course
