Looking forward to the Sony conference, and seeing some more about Last of Us, and the new Quantic Dream game.

It's just cheap scares. There's isn't any true horror in it after the first 10 minutes.

I've played every horror game under the sun, I've read my horror books, comics and watched my horror movies, claiming DS isn't horror is like claiming apples aren't fruits.

I'm not sure about you, but flickering lights and predictably grotesque creatures stop being frightening after a very short time.

Sony made some interesting moves with the announcement of the PS Suite on HTC. Their exclusive games look far more interesting like the Last of Us and God of War Ascension.
Moving to EA, I'm also upset no talk was made of Gens 2. However, other announcements were standard. New MoH (snore), SimCity (kinda want it), NFS:MW2 (probably gonna be fun). Those updates to SW:TOR have little chance of really saving it I think.

Watch Dogs looks even better, the fact that it's the only new IP in the whole of the show (I'm not counting Book of Spells because that works on an existing franchise). How can a show about video games only show off one new and original idea for an actual video game, it's ridiculous! Thankfully Watch Dogs sounds like it could be a wonderful game and the possible tease of co-op makes it an even more interesting premise.

Publishers seem intent on ruining or changing almost every game franchise I ever cared about in the first place. It just seems that so many games instead of going forward, just go backwards instead. The popularisation of games has had the same effect it has on most other mediums, 95% of it turns into complete utter shite. Bit of an overstatement maybe, but so many promising games have been dumbed down or changed over the past few years.
; Seems something I read about the new simcity was bollocks, though I still won't buy it if they continue to try and shove multiplayer down my throat / smaller cities / always fucking online fucking DRM.
