I don't understand why they need so much more cash than they already got to be able to implement said "stretch goals" honestly
If anything it makes me read it as : "Give us X more grand or else we won't implement X feature, despite being totally able to with the enormous amounts of money we already got from you".

I hope I'm wrong about my interpretation of that though...

I think the way you need to look at it is a matter of speed and quality, rather than quantity of content. More money = employing more competent staff = new features implemented alongside the production of the game, and less bugged code, or late releases due to lack of staff or cheap (and thus rubbish) staff. Nothing to do with "more money or we won't do it", more to do with "more money or we won't do it due to setting the release date back by 6 months".

The have less than a year to make it - it says it's scheduled for July 2013. I guess that's why they need so much extra cash. They're up 100 grand since yesterday though =o . Paypal worked, just became a $50 backer . Just wish the Euro was still strong - damn you Greece!

I've also backed this thing. Destroying planets sounds like a blast I like playing supreme commander and this seems like this is more of the same kind. What could be more fun than driving a moon to another planet with engines that you've built on it and then making it crash to the planet and maybe even destroying the whole planet

Third stretch goal unlocked! Getting 300k in 4 days seem a bit unlikely, but oh well, you get to smash multiple kinds of planet already.

Yeah, funds have been going quite slow the last days, but I guess there might be an end sprint. Metal and lava planets sound quite interesting though.

A whole singleplayer campaign? Unlikely. Annoyingly, apparently Paypal donations give you the rewards but they do NOT count towards the Kickstarter goals. They'd reach it easily with that.

Notice how fast the money racks up now that an orchestral score has been announced . And a bit of a traditional sprint at the end too ofc.
