More, way more. Anyways, Core Duo is already out, it wasn't a successor to pentiumm it was just a dual core laptop CPU lol. You can't get quad 7900GTXs, for one you can't get quad sli with GTXs, the only way is with two 7950GX2s in SLI... thats 4 GPUs, but can't be in a laptop. That's probably a bluff, he was just n00by and configured the best stuff he could find on a Dell, that would cost over 6000 bucks, and who buys from dell for gaming pcs lol.

To be truthful 5/10 or so. Seriously, the 10.0 is this:
CPU: Core 2 Extreme X6800
Mobo: Asus P5W-DH Deluxe
Memory: Corsair PC6400C3
Graphics card: 7900GTXs in SLI, 7950GX2 in sli, or X1900XT/XTX in Xfire
the list goes on...
Basically, you can't get the perfect 10.00, you would need to spend like 8000 bucks at least, and you would need to get new stuff every year to keep it up there.

No, just saying what a 10/10 would have to be for me to give it a 10/10.

Eddy01741 has Uber Computer.
Can you post what are your specs?

My 2nd Generation Pc:

-SO: Windows XP Pro
-CPU: Celeron D 2.66 Ghz
-RAM Memory: 768 mb
-Video Card: ATI Radeon 9250 128 mb (it sucks, i will get 9550 and 256 MB soon, just is economic video card)
-Hard drive: 80 GB
-Sound: Creative SoundBlaster, i dont know about it.
-Monitor: 19" "LG" LCD Monitor

I think that its my crappy computer.

I will buy a Super Duper Uber Computer on next year or 2008, when Windows Vista will be released.

Greets.

Well, from my scale that i clearly pointed out before, i'd say a 3/10 (sounds bad, but could be much worse). You have a celeron d, less than 1 GB of ram, and last last generation low end video card. My computer?:

CPU: AMD 4200+ X2
Memory: 512mb (my 2x512mb got RMAed, coming on thursday, it's high end, very high end memory)
Mobo: Some POS WInfast MATX mobo
Hard drive: Seagate Barracuda 320GB SATA3.0
Video Card: ATi X800XL
Sound Card: Integrated
Monitor: 5 years old sony 17" LCD (around teh time that LCDs just started coming into style).

Hey, that's pretty high praise, i usually get a 7/10, because of hardware reasons, as there is much better stuff than what i got. ANyways, the changes i would make is make the mobo like a 6, a make the memory a 6 (until my new memory comes), make video card a 7, and the rest is alright. Anyways, 6.5/10 for Waris, and 3.5/10 forDauth

That's not that bad, compared to mine.

6.5/10
Not bad, but not amazing.

Here's my current settings.

CPU: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.00GHz
Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2
Direct-X: DirectX 9.0c
Harddisk: 229GB
Memory: 510MB RAM
Video Card (PCI-E): RADEON X300/X550 Series
Display Memory: 128 MB
Sound Device: SoundMAX Digital Audio

However for xmas, I'm planning to upgrade to GeForce 7600GT XXX Edition Graphics Card and get another 1GB of RAM. So that'll be:

Memory: 1.5 GB
Video Card (PCI-E): XFX Geforce 7600GT
Display Memory: 256MB

Before and After Specs Rating pl0x. :)

6/10...

I managed to revamp my old PC for free, when my homies offload some old but usable component for me to experiment with.

Pentium 4 2.4GHz 533MHz FSB (was Athlon XP 2000+)
MSI 865E (was ASUS A7-266E)
512MB PC266 DDR RAM
GeForce FX 5200 128MB DDR RAM (AGP 8x, but that is not the case since the newly 'revamped' mobo is still on 4x...)
AC'97 Audio Controller
Samsung 80GB HD (new addition) + Maxtor 40GB HD + Maxtor 20GB HD
48x24x48 CD Burner
17" IBM monitor that is 22kg in weight and is believed to be 12 years old this year (I still have no idea why this thing wounded up in my home 2 years ago)
