Well, your style on that picture (as well as the guy on your right) looks a lot like the style you see in TV Shows with Rednecks :o

Was it horrible? I'm thinking of doing it myself when I finally get some money, but the thought of needles in my eyes and slicing pieces of eye off just makes me cringe D: .

Completely painless actually. No needles. They anesthetize your eye with drops. Then once your lying on the operating table, they hold your eyekids open with clips and put a sort of ring with a suction cup over your eye. I asked my doctor to describe everything. Didn't even feel the flap being cut. Was surprised when they told me actually. Overall both eyes took 25 minutes. Do it if you can round up the money. But I imagine it ain't cheap in Europe.

No, a decent treatment costs 3000 euros an eye over here. Good to know all this though.
