This planet has — or rather had — a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much all of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movement of small green pieces of paper, which was odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy.

The fact that Bob didn't know what HHGTTG meant wasn't a problem, because he was sure to find out soon enough by someone haplessly blurting out the answer without thinking about the likely consequences.

This is strangely similar to unlikely events that occurred on Sacron Three, a planet entirely devised of lifeforms made from wet shoelaces, who were once at war because of a devide between the skinny laces and the thick unforgiving ones. Forty one years into their peace treaty millions died on Scaron Three when a passer by happened to blurt out the secret keycode, a code that is surprisingly still keep secret. The code began the start of the war which lasted for generations, which up until a few days ago had never stopped. It did finally end when the two sides got together and used Google to sort out the problem. Which is something Bob should probably do himself.
