That he is a Later Day Saint (I cannot stress how incorrect you are with the term "Mormon") is not a reason vote for him, nor would it take a retard to vote for one. Romney actually voted FOR abortion rights during his run for Govenor in 2002.

If Rommney had run as a moderate (as his track record would suggest) he would probably have a clear lead by now. Unfortunately to gain the republican nomination though he had to bow to many of the right wing nutters in his party and as such it's impossible to know what he really stands for.

Indeed, it is the Tea Party Movement that ruining the GOP. What they don't understand is that they are vastly outnumbered in a country that is historically the ancestoral home of everything they are not, poor, non-white, early generation immigrants. How they believe that they can win an election on their terms, is quite frankly, sheer idiocy.
