Why nobody did a proper rts for a long time ? Hell, we need better turn based ones than Civy, its fine but needs more attention to make new things!

I don't mean that, something huge, something as good as Rise of Nations , Generals or Age of Mythology, never came out anything as good as them again :(
And do not forget the fact that all this three game had so much potential to improve on.

What I want to have is, Global Conquest style of Kane's Wrath but with Civilization V or Soulstorm's planetary map style. and Rise of Nations like gameplay, Nations which differs from each other truly, not just by a few units.

The answer to that is pretty straightforward tbh - RTS games are typical big game corporation territory, all of which are focused on making games as mediocre as possible. Planetary Annihilation might well break this cycle however.

PA is going to be on a bigger scale than any RTS game ever afaik so that's not really true .
